Before arrival and documents
Genuine acceptable travel document valid at least 6 months. No prior visa application needed for the on-arrival route. Work is not permitted. Sufficient funds; evidence may be requested. Yellow-fever certificate is mandatory when arriving from an endemic or active-outbreak country. Vaccination must be valid at least 10 days after administration. For active-outbreak exposure within 24 days, the official checklist requires a valid certificate, absence of fever and consent to report symptoms for 6 days. Invalid certificates may trigger quarantine; arrivals without a certificate may be vaccinated at their expense. Refusal of preventive measures can lead to refusal of entry. Passenger Locator Form and pre-boarding/arrival-at-Kigali COVID testing are no longer required.
